Dear Alejandrina,

Your package with the yerba arrived yesterday and when Oscar got home we had some delicious little mates with biscuits. Pablo ate most of the sweeties in one go as well as the chocolate. He also drank some mate as now it is impossible to make him wait. He loves mate and all its ceremony.
Also, on Saturday arrived back Inés and Alejandro with the presents. Thank you!Everything is lovely, especially the embroidered things. The pink dress for the baby is beautiful and also the little collars. Pablo adores his pocket monograms and embroideries. Thanks!

I am enclosing some photos we took during the summer holidays. Now we are starting school, Oscar his work and the autumn is here. The summer ended suddenly, from one day to the next. We are preparing a tape to send you and it in the next few days we will finish it and send it.
Meanwhile, I will say goodbye with a big kiss from the four of us and again thank you for taking so much trouble to send us so many lovely things and especially the yerba!
We are aware of the effort and expense involved as it is neither easy nor cheap to do it.

Querida Alejandrina:

Ayer llegó el paquete con la yerba y cuando llegó Oscar nos tomamos unos ricos matecitos con galletitas, Pablo se comió casi todos los caramelos de un golpe, y el bocadito. El también tomó mate, ya que ahora no hay quién lo pueda hacer esperar. Le encanta el mate con toda la ceremonia.

También el sábado volvieron Inés y Alejandro y nos trajeron los regalos. ¡Muchas gracias! Todo es precioso, sobre todo los bordados. El vestidito rosa para la nena es una belleza y los cuellitos también. Pablo está encantado con los adornitos y los bolsillos para sus camisas. ¡Muchas gracias!

Aquí mando unas fotos sacadas este verano y ya ahora empezamos las clases, Oscar el trabajo y también empieza el otoño. El verano terminó de golpe, de un día para el otro. Estamos preparando una cinta para mandarle y vamos a terminarla en estos días y mandarla enseguida.

Mientras tanto, me despido con un beso grande de los cuatro y gracias otra vez por tanta molestia en mandarnos tantas cositas lindísimas ¡y la yerba! Nosotros sabemos que no es fácil ni barato y nos da vergüenza darle tanto gasto y trabajo.
